Open Day at Bowling Community Orchard Saturday 14th June

Come and join Bradford BEES and Bradford Apple Group in the orchard within Bowling Park Allotments between 12 and 3pm. We are celebrating fruit growing and our collaboration with the Edible Archives project; https://www.ediblearchives.co.uk/the-bradford-selection

Apples from the orchard have been dehydrated to produce biscuits that will form part of the “Bradford Selection” – a biscuit selection box that represents stories from various Bradford communities.

Bring along a picnic, sit among the trees, relax in nature, have an orchard tour and learn about fruit trees. Hopefully we will also see some lovely sunshine!

We will be selling organic apple juice, chutneys and other fruity products. Proceeds will help towards the upkeep of the orchard.

The gates to Bowling Park Allotments may be locked so please ring the number on the gate for entry and stick to the orchard plots only.
