BEES have thoroughly enjoyed several days of winter tree and shrub planting at Equality for All CIC in Rawdon.

Despite the wet and muddy weather, BEES and hardy volunteers have worked on several Fridays to create wildlife corridors and shelter belts around this amazing social impact horse therapy centre. This will improve the natural environment for the horses, sheep, birds and wildlife.

A wonderful site had been created for the wellbeing of therapy participants, animals, birds and insects.

Thank you as always to our dedicated team of Friday Conservation Volunteers and to the hard working group of ESOL students from Bradford College. Friday 13th Feb is probably the last day of planting and checking trees- email bees@bradfordymca.org.uk if you fancy joining us.

See all of our Friday conservation tasks on our web page:

We are always grateful for additional hands to help us make a difference to the environment and wildlife habitats around Bradford District.
